Children’s Ministry Community Fridge Walk on May 5th!

On Sunday, May 5th, the Children's Ministry will lead a Community Refrigerator Prayer Walk in order to stock the shelves with food and pray for our neighbors.

Please bring healthy refrigerator and shelf food and drop it in the lobby before church on May 5th. Then, during our normally scheduled class time, kids and mentors will walk to the refrigerator stock the shelves, and pray together for our neighborhood.

Save The Date for Covenant Family Camp Day!

Children's Ministry invites you to take a mini-field trip and enjoy a day of fresh air and fun at the first-ever Covenant Family Camp Day! We will explore the trails and sights in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx while playing games, making crafts, and hanging out together from 10-1pm on the Nature Center Lawn. You are invited to join the whole time or drop in as you can. Please bring your own snacks and picnic items. Weather updates will be communicated via the Uptown Community Church Slack.

Join Monday Night Dinners at bennett park!

Children's Ministry invites everyone to join together for dinner in Bennett Park on Mondays, April 15 and May 20, from 5:45-7pm. Dinner is provided so that you don't have to cook! Come for food, friends, and short hands-on Gospel application workshops. Everyone is invited: you do not have to be a parent or mentor to attend. Sign Up for Uptown’s Vacation Bible School and to become a Volunteer!

Take a deep dive into a week of fun, friends, and learning about Jesus during this summer's scuba diving themed Vacation Bible School! 

VBS will take place August 26th-August 30th from 9am-12:30pm at The Hebrew Tabernacle and will have classes open for children entering PreK4 through 5th grade. 

We invite middle/high schoolers and grown-ups to volunteer for any number of days during the week. You can sign up to volunteer HERE.

Missional Discipleship

The Missional Discipleship Menu is designed to organize our opportunities for general Gospel discipleship. They are designed to form us together as a people who love mercy and do justice in Christ. They are organized to share our spiritual practices in community. Above are this year's offerings.  Life groups are diverse, regularly meeting gatherings.  Learning experiences are a limited educational time centered on a topic, character, or practice. Socials are less frequent but help connect those across shared affinities.

Join Women’s Bible Study!

Join us for Women’s Bible Study and fellowship once a month until June. There will be two different groups with the same study. The first group will be on Tuesday evenings and the second group will be on Saturday mornings. Please choose the date that best fits your schedule and RSVP to Esther Cabinte at pestherly@gmail.com.

Join After 8PM Life Group On thursday evenings!

The After 8 Life Group is excited to get kicked off on Thursday night October 19th. The group will meet three times a month via Zoom from 8:30-9:15pm for Bible discussion, and will meet once a month in person for community and prayer. The in person meetings will include meals at rotating locations and be held at times where children can attend. Please fill out this form if you are interested.

Join gospel neighboring once a month on sundays!

Do you want to know how you might engage your friends in more spiritual conversation? Want to know how you can get more involved in combatting food insecurity, loneliness, poverty and other things your neighbors might be going through? Ever wonder about the next step you could take to share Jesus with the people in your building, and engage in a lifestyle of loving mercy and doing justice?

This 8-month learning experience will help us grow in the practical application of Gospel friendship, mission, and renewal for our neighbors. We hope to equip folks in tangible, natural evangelism, and personal engagement in meeting social and spiritual needs. Sessions will include teaching, workshops, discussion , community building, and will have a strong emphasis on applying what we learn in between sessions.
