Ephesians 6:10-17 (ESV)

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

10 Una palabra final: sean fuertes en el Señor y en su gran poder. 11 Pónganse toda la armadura de Dios para poder mantenerse firmes contra todas las estrategias del diablo. 12 Pues no luchamos contra enemigos de carne y hueso, sino contra gobernadores malignos y autoridades del mundo invisible, contra fuerzas poderosas de este mundo tenebroso y contra espíritus malignos de los lugares celestiales. 13 Por lo tanto, pónganse todas las piezas de la armadura de Dios para poder resistir al enemigo en el tiempo del mal. Así, después de la batalla, todavía seguirán de pie, firmes. 14 Defiendan su posición, poniéndose el cinturón de la verdad y la coraza de la justicia de Dios. 15 Pónganse como calzado la paz que proviene de la Buena Noticia a fin de estar completamente preparados. 16 Además de todo eso, levanten el escudo de la fe para detener las flechas encendidas del diablo. 17 Pónganse la salvación como casco y tomen la espada del Espíritu, la cual es la palabra de Dios.
